During the Klondike gold rush at the end of the 19th century, thousands and thousands of gold seekers set off for the icy north to make big money. But instead of great fortune, many men met their agonizing deaths in freezing temperatures and adverse conditions. In this three-part documentary, Parker Schnabel takes on the challenge of hiking along the famous Dalton Trail at the onset of winter to get an idea of how the treasure hunters felt on their arduous journey over 100 years ago. Parker’s buddy Rick Ness accompanies him on the exhausting tour.
